Mrs. Adesoye, Folasade Sidikatu (FCA), is The 20th Head Of Government Service Of Lagos State, Nigeria. She is also the former Permanent Secretary of the Civil Service Pensions Office, Local Government Establishments, Training and Pensions Office, Ministries of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and Energy and Mineral Resources respectively.
She holds Masters in Public Administration from University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is also an alumnus of the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, USA and Ogun State University, Nigeria.
Folasade is an accomplished fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria and quintessential Administrator with special interest in Research, Business Development and Investment Appraisal. She was born on 28th December, 1959 at Ebutte-Metta, Lagos.
Young Folasade attended Abeokuta Girls Grammar School for her Secondary Education which she successfully completed in 1975 with a grade 1 overall score in WASC. She was at the Federal school of Arts and Science, Victoria Island Lagos and subsequently The Polytechnic Ibadan between 1975-1976 and 1976-1978 respectively.
In pursuit of knowledge and career succes, Mrs Adesoye joined the PEAT MARWICK, ANI, OGUNDE & CO now known as Akintola Williams Delliots - a Chartered Accounting and Auditing firm between1978-1982. While at PEATMARWICK, she was responsible for auditing public and private companies, preparation of draft accounts and computation of tax liabilities amongst other duties during her short but memorable experience.
Armed with private sector experience, she joined the Lagos State Civil Service in December 1983 with the Small Scale Industries Credit Scheme under the then Ministry of Commerce and Industries as a Senior Accountant and later transferred her service to the Local Government Service Commission where she spent most of her Public Service career moving from one Local Government Council to another between 1988-2003 as a Council Treasurer.
In recognition of her sterling performance and contributions to the development of the State, she was elevated as a Permanent Secretary in December 2010 and deployed to the Civil Service Pensions Office, Local Government Establishments, Training and Pensions Office, Ministries of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and Energy and Mineral Resources respectively.
Mrs. Adesoye, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (1996) is also a member of Nigerian Institute of Management and Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) amongst numerous local and international bodies. She has served as the past president of Lagos State Association of Local Government Accountants and Treasurers, Treasurer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (All Saints Chapel, Lagos).

Policy Innovation: Challenges and Opportunity
discussing government best practices and detailing her vision for a better government policy making framework.
She is happily married and blessed with children and grand Children.
