IIM Events and Photos
MedNetU - A multinational Euro-Mediterranean consortium hosted today a satellite
discussion between Nobel Peace Laureates and students from partner
universities in Africa. During the 6th world summit of peace Nobles,
held in Rome from November 24-26, 2005. The live discussion was coordinate
by Prof. Maria Garito, MedNetU project leader.
Summit Participants Included: Mikhael Gorbachev, Lech Walesa, Frederik
Willem De Klerk, Betty Williams, Mairead Corrigan Maguire, Rigoberta Menchu
Tum, Adolfo Perez Esquivel, American Friends Service Committee, Amnesty
International, Doctors Without Borders, International Campaign to Ban
Landmines, International Labour Organization, International Peace Bureau,
International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, Pugwash
Conferences on Science and World Affairs, United Nations, United Nations
High Commissioner for Refugees, UNICEF.

Nettuno SAT2 hot bird at 13 degree East and Internet Via Satellite on W6 at 21.5 East
