PRESS RELEASE For Immediate Release: IIM’s President Named to Las Vegas' Top 40 Under 40 (Las Vegas, USA Feb 23, 2007) International Institute of Management (IIM), today announced that Med Yones, the President of IIM, has been named to Las Vegas Top 40 Under 40 List. The criteria for winning this award included community service, entrepreneurial spirit and impact on respective industries. The honorees were distinguished professionals from various industries who made their mark early in their careers - before the age of 40. Other professionals named to the Top 40 Under 40 include John Oceguera, Nevada Assembly Majority Leader, Matt Maddox , Senior Vice President of Wynn Resorts Group, Michael Saxton, Senior. Vice President, Nevada State Bank, and Al Gourrier, President of First Commerce Bank, Jenn Michaels, VP, MGM Mirage and Andrew Simon VP, Cox Communications. “It is an honor to be highlighted alongside such an extraordinary list of leaders who are making their mark in Las Vegas community,” said Yones. According to Rob Langrell, Editor of In Business Las Vegas newspaper, “This award recognizes young business leaders who have distinguished themselves not only in their profession, but also in the community. We're certain that we've found 40 people who have made the Las Vegas Valley a better place to work and live. In Business Las Vegas is honored to profile this year's class and welcomes our 40 newest businessmen and businesswomen to this elite group. It is a distinct and unique award." Yones was recognized for building IIM institute and its international research network. Yones is an international expert advising Fortune 500 companies and governments on global business strategy, management best practices and leadership coaching. His expert opinion is widely covered by international media and blogs such as Reuters, Scoop, MSNBC, Fox News, and Capital France. When asked what contributed to his success at such a young age, Yones responded, “strong motivation, relevant education, focused actions and win-win relations. People think that my success is in my professional achievements, but I consider the most important success is my life happiness. What is the use of winning at the game of business, if it is on the expense of my personal life? Balance is a key to success in life and in career. This is the most important lesson I’ve learned from working with and coaching successful executives.” In addition to CEO education courses, IIM offers free management
