Courses: FAQ
What are the differences between self-study, distance learning (DL) and accelerated classroom courses?
Participants may choose one of the following course
delivery options:
- Distance learning with advisor support.
No physical attendance is required. Distance
learning courses are mainly self-study
courses. They are designed for more experienced professionals and normally
take longer to complete (about 2
weeks).
Participants may submit an assessment project for
evaluation and feedback from the course advisor. Learning at a distance allows candidates to
balance their personal and professional responsibilities. The advisor does
not lecture or teach the candidate but helps guide them through the
learning process via email communications.
From our
experience success in distance learning environment requires a
self-directed, well-organized person who is comfortable with email
technologies
- Accelerated classroom
courses.
Physical attendance is required in classrooms. Courses are a mix of
seminar-based, live discussions and custom project work.
The accelerated program, includes face to face support of the
advisor who will
help save time, and effort through real-time guidance and advice.
