Management Training Courses: FAQ Does IIM have an international academic
accreditation?
- Academic accreditation is conferred by an accrediting agencies
licensed by U.S. Department of Education.
- Having a license in US is mandatory, accreditation is voluntary.
- It is important to note that IIM is a research and professional training institution not
an academic university. IIM does not offer academic degrees or credits. IIM
management training programs are
tailored for executives and their corporate
needs, they are not traditional academic programs
- Although IIM's management training program body of
knowledge might be shared with some other academic programs, all IIM courses
and
projects have customized and experiential-learning orientation rather than academic/theoretical one.
Therefore, IIM does not seek academic accreditation and does not accept
or offer credit transfer from
academic institutes.
