Executive Education FAQ Does IIM have an international academic
accreditation?
- Academic accreditation is conferred by an accrediting agencies
licensed by U.S. Department of Education.
- Having a license in US is mandatory, accreditation is voluntary.
- It is important to note that IIM is a research and training institution not
an academic university. IIM does not offer academic degrees or credits. IIM executive education programs are
tailored for executives and their corporate
needs.
- Although IIM's executive education program body of
knowledge might be shared with some other academic programs, all IIM courses
and
projects have customized and experiential-learning orientation rather than academic/theoretical one.
Therefore, IIM does not seek academic accreditation and does not accept
or offer credit transfer from
academic institutes.
